April Full

My schedule for April is really tight & from the look of it, the number of hours spending the night at the hotel is far greater in number than at home. This is due to Cross Audit that need to be conducted thru out peninsular M'sia starting with Kedah/Perlis in Alor Star on 4&5th Apr 2010. On top of that, NIOSH requests me to give training in 2 occasions - it's going to be tiring!

Actually i look forward to carry out the audit & training for i have the opportunity to meet a lot of people - be it TNB staff or the contractors. And the best but part is i got to 'tabligh' them a bit along the way to fullfill our task as caliph ' amar makruf & nahi mungkar'. Abdullah ibnu Masud said 'Those who don't practice amar makruf & nahi mungkar is like 'bangkai bernyawa'.

p/s: 8th April - birthday of Allahyarham Ayah. Same date as Almarhum Sultan Johor

Condong ke Teluk Intan

Got the opportunity once again to deliver a safety talk to school teacher in Sungai Besar on 27th Mar 2010. Since it falls on Saturday, i brought along my fmly with. We stayed at D'Muara Marince Park Sungai Dorani-located by the sea. Did not have the time to wonder around Sungai Besar hence after the talk off we went (condong) to Teluk Intan (approx. 50km from Sungai Besar) to take a glimpse of the Menara Condong since i myself have yet to visit Teluk Intan.

Above photos, everybody seemed to be 'condong' just like the Menara Condong but the most interesting part is that Kakak Balqis got to buy her tudung at RM5 tag price!

Menara TM

Semasa perjalanan balik dari Ipoh bersama mak melalui Kerinchi Link, berkesempatan utk cerita pada mak tentang Menara TM - at certain floor ada balcony sebagai tempat rehat. I had the opportunity to go up this Menara TM - 35th floor. (foto kat atas tu adalah dalam lif - indicator kedudukan tingkat yg kita lalui). For upper bridge & lower bridge, ada different set of lift utk elakkan congestion.

Ntah bila pulak TNB nak buat menara?

Competency & Compliance

21-03-2010 UIA Gombak baru-baru ni, ada friendly match taekwando dgn kelab Taekwando UIA. Balqis, Ibrahim & Yusuf (for the first time masuk utk berlawan). Alhamdullilah semua ok & tunjukkan sedikit peningkatan kesan dr latihan sepanjang cuti sekolah ni, walaupun Ibrahim masih lg ada rasa takut-takut pada peringkat awal tp towards the end, ok. To my surprise, Yusuf did not show any sign of nervousness nor afraid even though it was his first fight.

Ada rakan yg tanya apa tujuan masukkan anak Taekwando - penat aje budak2 berlatih nanti tak tumpu pelajaran pulak? Jawapannya mudah ajer iaitu utk dpt ilmu pertahankan diri agar boleh tolong diri & org lain yg dlm kesusahan + to instill the discipline into the heart. Hence time mgt & small sacrification needed. Tak akan dapat sagu jika tidak dipecahkan ruyungnya.

p/s: Gigi Yusuf yg hampir patah kat depan tak patah jugak masa berlawan!
