Kuala Gandah

This week has been quite a 'talkative' week for me for I have to give talk to different people with different subject at different places. From one place leading to the another starting with Bangi, then off to Shah Alam the following day, then Kepong and once I completed the talk in Kepong, boss asked me to investigate an accident in Temerloh - pergi sehelai sepinggang. Well I thought it would last for a few hours but it went on and on up to almost midnight.

WHY? Becoz the accident's location was in Kuala Gandah, Lancang (Elephant Sancturay) which is about one hour drive from Temerloh, hence 2 hours to & fro. Actually I have been here before with the kids watching the elephants. Quite a nice place but a bit remote though! Should you plan to visit, better come at noon as you can watch the elephants take their bath in the river & if you are lucky you can even ride on one. Tips: Pls bring along some foods + drinks becos the nearby shops or restaurant are run by the orang asli.

Got home at 2 am!

Project in Tanggul Aur

I was invited to give a safety talk to school teacher in Universiti Tun Hussin Onn, Batu Pahat on Saturday & as usual I dropped by at Kampung and guess what! New project utk tambak belakang rumah was underway coordinated by mak. Probably for the grandchildren play area.

Mithali

Out of the blue, Yusuf was awarded Murid Mithali lelaki darjah 1 Benar after 2 weeks of schooling - well it was more like kindergarten refresher week for Yusuf did whine about no new things learned during those week. He brought home a set of stationeries & a book. Due to this, he has been appointed as Ketua Darjah 1 Benar ! (biar betul! or shall we say biar benar!). Nontheless, congrats to Yusuf.

Survived for 1st 5 days!

4-8 Januari 2010 merupakan 5 hari pertama Yusuf di SRAI. I would say, he passed the 5 days in SRAI with flying colours. Why? 1.easy to wake in the morning 2.didn't loose his shoes 3. didn't pee in his pant 4.can keep up with lessons in class and most importantly 5.didn' cry!

The ratio between boys and girls in Yusuf's class is 2:1.

Wang Kelian, Perlis

Apakah maksud Wang di tempat yg bernama Wang Kelian? Entah saya pun tak tahu. Yang pastinya bukan duit. Menurut rakan dari Perlis, Wang Kelian ini asalnya milik Siam dan kemudiannya jadi hak Malaysia. Maksud Wang ni adalah time (masa). Walaubagaimanapun ianya memang berkait rapat dengan duit sebab bila kami sekeluarga ke Wang Kelian banyak duit yg diperlukan utk bayar barang-barang di sana pada hari Ahad 27-12-2009 yg lalu. adalah sikit...

Wang Kelian is a Perlis border town on the Malaysia-Thailand Border. It is one of two border crossings between Malaysia and Thailand in the state of Perlis. The other is Padang Besar. The village across the border from Wang Kelian is Wang Prachan in Satun province, Southern Thailand. The village is a popular destinations for tourists and locals because of a huge market on both sides of the border. The governments of Malaysia and Thailand allow people to move freely across the border to shop wthin the confines of the market without the need for any documents.

p/s: some tips, 1. pls ensure you go early in the morning to avoid the hot weather & heavy traffic 2. Reserve a lot of space in your car to fill up the goodies you are going to buy (yg murah TOTO and tikar)

Benar!

4 Jan 2010 (Isnin), hari ni merupakan hari pertama buat Yusuf di Sekolah Rendah Integrasi (SRAI) Bandar Baru Bangi. Dia ditempatkan di dalam darjah 1 Benar (kalau dalam upin & ipin taglinenya betul!betul!betul! tapi utk Yusuf benar!benar!benar!). Ada 5 kelas - 1 Amanah, 1 Benar, 1 Jujur, 1 Harmoni dan 1 Damai - in that order.

He's a bit concern on 2 things: 1.how to go about taking his pant off at the toilet with his shoes + 2.his eating habit - kunyah 40 kali or he is the type that enjoy every chew! Advice after advice and training done at home and Insya-Allah he'll manage to cope with this transition period.

As for Balqis - 5 Amanah and Ibrahim - 3 Amanah di bangunan baru yang belum ada kemudahan air dan elektrik - ni kerja JKR Elektrik bukan TNB! (jadi pengawas pulak dia tahun ni).

As what we use to hear in court "I'll tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" - BENAR!

Lost & Found - 1431H

Sejak 4 bulan yg lalu, tiada update dibuat dlm blog hjazharhjabubakar-ai.blogspot.com kerana lupa dan hilang password yg ditulis dlm diari 2008-2009. Almaklum TNB's financial year starts in Sept 2009, hence those activities written down uptill Aug 2009 also reached it's hawl once the new diary distributed at the office. I've been trying for ages keying in all different combination of password but all effort went down the drain. Hence this new-born blog!
