Nasi minyak yg baru masak
4 Dis 2010 yg lalu, adakan sedikit kenduri di Kuala Terengganu. Hujan tidak berhenti turun sejak 2-3 hari yg lalu sehingga memaksa proses memasak di buat secara in-door (in fact memang biasa buat in-door sebab ada sengkuap yg memang ayah buat). Led by Ayah Teh & Achik, maka i took the opportunity to learn a few tricks / tips to prepare nasi minyak.
What I learned:
1. For each gantang of beras, must add segenggam garam
2. 1 Gantang beras is enough to serve approximately 40 people
3. The current rate if you were to as caterer to prepare for weddings : 1 Gantang ranging RM280 - RM300. Maknanya sekepala lebih kurang RM7 - RM8
4. 250 grams gula utk 5 gantang beras (elok jugak tak bubuh byk sangat utk elak diabetes & gula pun dah mahal)
Insya-Allah tahun depan, i'll ask Ayah Teh to teach us how to prepare nasi beriyani utk aqiqah 'Maryam'- scan di Klinik Dr Hamid Arshat pd 6 Dis 2010 more or less confirmed the gender.
