Perjanjian Baling...

Rasanya dah lama tak mencoret dalam blog ini sejak berjinak dengan facebook - ada kalanya 'get carried away with FB' especially when comes to chatting or getting to know old friends whereabouts.
Recently or to be exact on 14th Oct, Faidz and I drove to Baling, Kedah to pay a visit to Mini Training Centre set up by our colleague for the purpose of conducting practical locally & also to be used for practical exam co-ordinated by us at HQ.

There are 2 routes to get to Baling from KL:(1) via Kuala Kangsar, Sauk, Gerik & (2) via Seberang Perai. We took route (1) on our way to Baling and route (2) on the way back to KL. The road from Kuala Kangsar to Gerik (i thougt the spelling is Grik but it's Gerik as displayed on the signboard) then to Baling was good all the way.
A few places names' got us laughing. Among others:
1) Kg Seterus (mungkin lepas kg ni ada kg seterusnya?)
2) Restoran memang sedap (rest area on the way to Gerik)
3) Kg Belum Baru (this is the best one)

I even managed to ask one of the mak cik while having char kway teow in front of Mt Baling the location of Perjanjian Baling between Chin Peng (Komunis Malaya) and Tunku Abdul Rahman. It was held at a scholl - Sek Men Tengku Putra. In fact the school is still in operation & the very room is kept as muzium!
